In one aspect this is cool - generating gradients using PHP! In another, it's not - multiple divs to accomplish the extemely smooth effect. I'd prefer for PHP to generate the image, not lines of color...

An interesting slider pagination component. Needs tweaking, it fails and 1-2 pages, but very cool idea for large numbered pages.
